As a rare disease, ARSACS is critically under-researched and under-funded. Rare diseases typically lack significant sources of institutional funding, so we have looked to the community to help support our partnership with the Krogan Lab.

Our fight to cure ARSACS relies heavily upon learning more about the disease itself and how we might be able to treat it. We have partnered with an incredible team at the Krogan Lab, led by Dr. Nevan Krogan. His team is part of the Quantitative Biosciences Institute at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Their groundbreaking genetic research models and cell mapping technologies present a truly unique opportunity for us to learn more about ARSACS and potentially find both treatment and cure modalities.
